Hey, there! I’m D.A. McGrath, children’s book author and creator of the ‘Full Moon Shifter’ and ‘Os-Nàdarra Gang’ series.
Born in Chester, England, I got hooked on reading after winning a “Winnie the Pooh” book at the grand old age of seven.
My career initially took me in another direction, however, my passion for stories bubbled away inside of me and eventually spilled out in the form of Clara, the hero of the ‘Full Moon Shifter‘ series.
One book turned into two and then, before I knew it, there were six titles in the series; a contemporary, coming of age saga following the fictional adventures of a shapeshifter named Clara, and her Gypsy friend, Luke. The series is aimed at 8-14 year old’s who enjoy reading about myths, paranormal superheroes, magic – or anyone who simply enjoys a rollicking good tale!
I’ve now started a new series called ‘The Os-Nàdarra Gang’, the first book of which, ‘Supernatural’, is OUT NOW! It’s a fast-paced dystopian fantasy/sci-fi survival story aimed at young teens. I’ve also recently completed a short story prequel to The Os-Nàdarra Gang, which is called, ‘The New Hope: Arrival‘ and you can get a copy of it by joining my subscriber list.
I live in the beautiful county of Shropshire, England, with my husband and our Maine Coon cat, Loki. When not reading or writing, I enjoy going on adventures to new places and, on those rare occasions when the UK skies are clear, I love looking at planets, stars and galaxies through my telescope and imagining the day that humans will go beyond our solar system and into the unknown!
